Prefabrication

Fabricator working on a custom projectRomanoff Electric’s prefabrication shop uses the latest fabrication tools and specialty equipment to create custom component and assemblies. This allows us to bring fabricated items to the site as they are needed, creating additional efficiencies in scheduling and labor. The department is supported by our in-house virtual construction designers and BIM experts.

Production is done in a tightly controlled environment specifically designed for the manufacture and assembly of prefabricated components. This environment allows us to perform additional quality checks and more comprehensive reviews than possible on a job site. It also helps improve overall safety by limiting variables and keeping job sites free of clutter.

Further, the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) inspects our shop quarterly to review the quality of our processes, products, and engineering. We are UL listed and apply our own UL tag to all of our prefabricated assemblies. We take deep pride in being recognized by one of the world’s most respected safety science organizations.
